Jesus said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit,  for theirs

and self-centered behavior — my life is unmanageable.

Jesus said: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall
be comforted.”  ~Matthew 5:4 NKJV
I believe Jesus Christ can and will create in me a new way of life.

inherit the earth.” ~Matthew 5:5 NKJV
I give my will and my life to Jesus Christ.

for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”

be called sons of God.” ~Matthew 5:9 NKJV

Jesus said: “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’
sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” ~Matthew 5:10 NKJV
I trust in the power of Jesus Christ when I face hardship and trials.

9 ... Perseverance ... Series One: VIDEO: (A) (B) | PDF
Jesus said: “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven,
for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
~Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV
I stand firm in my faith that Jesus is in control of all things.

10 ... Loving Servant ... Series One: VIDEO | PDF
Jesus said: "You are the salt of the earth; ... You are the light of the world.
... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works
and glorify your Father in heaven.” ~Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV
As a new creation in Christ, I share with others the Good News
of a risen Savior who makes His people whole.

When we finally get clean and sober, we must learn to live a new life with a new character. When we become new creations in Christ, we must put on His spiritual life and put off the old, worldly, prideful, selfish, lustful nature. In His Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5, 6 and 7), Jesus describes the attitudes of His followers. “The Most Excellent Way” ministry is centered on God’s Word, and Christ’s Beatitudes are our foundation for change.  These Attitudes are the character qualities of “born again” Believers!
Jesus said:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you."
Matthew 6:33 NKJV
We recommend that you print the PDF outline and read along while viewing the videos.  The outline has space for personal notes, and you will probably want to highlight portions of the presentation.  Pastor Rick's candid humor offers many memorable "one liners."

“The Most Excellent Way” provides “support group” type meetings for men and women on Wednesday evenings.

All of our meetings are based
on God's Word, and are teaching environments for people who are struggling or have struggled with addiction.

We also welcome and encourage anyone who is affected by addictive behavior to attend our meetings.  You will find the love and support that you need in order to effectively learn how to not just deal with someone, but help them as well.

On Wednesday evenings we have
a men's meeting and a ladies' meeting.  On Sunday mornings     we meet together for Bible Study at 9 AM. We meet in the Grace Building on the corner of Grace Ave. and 6th St.

For more information or assistance call Rick McClung at 850-392-1652.
